Hay Guys [28 Jan 2010|02:40pm]

HI guys,
Here's the deal. My mom is doing a marathon in a few months to help fight blood cancers, that is leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. We need people to donate so that we can reach our goals and help find a cure. I am not asking for huge donations either, any little bit will help and the money goes to research and clinics that help people with these illnesses and their families. So please hit the link and help people with blood cancer.

Rose says donate

New Orleans Nightlife [29 Dec 2004|02:27am]
Random question, but a couple of friends and I who go to NYU want to come down to New Orleans for Spring Break and we we're wondering how strict the clubs and bars were with fake IDs? In New York, it's pretty easy to get by with a fake, but is it hard in New Orleans to enjoy the nightlife being underage?

Frosty the snowman, I despise you. [01 Dec 2004|10:55am]

Wait...Friar Tuck's...and...good music? [28 Oct 2004|03:45am]

[ mood | awake ]

I was really damn happy Tuesday. I was over at Tuck's, losing once again at the pool table, when "Mother" came on over the speakers (and for all of you sad, uninitiated folk, that's Danzig, and you'd better pay some fucking RESPECT.) Then, after my heart was set a-flutter, "Add It Up" came on (ok, it's the Violent Femmes. I'll let you slide on that one.) I mean, these were two of the greatest songs of the past couple of decades, playing on the same night, in TUCK'S.

Which led me to the conclusion that they put the shitty music on when the place is more packed.

So can someone now tell me why the masses love such bad entertainment?
